Investor verification & accreditation: Accreditation certificates, net-worth declarations, income proof, CA certificates, bank statements, proof of incorporation, board/partner resolutions (for entities).
Transactional data: Investment amounts, bank account details, payment receipts, KYC forms, subscription agreements.
Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, cookies and analytics data.
Communications: Records of emails, calls, chat transcripts, service requests.
Other: Any additional information you provide in forms, documents or communications.

4. How We Collect Data

  • Directly from you: via enquiry forms, emails, phone conversations, subscription processes, investor onboarding documents, or submissions to TerraVest.

  • From third parties: trustees, custodians, KRAs, payment processors, credit/debit verification agencies, professional advisors, or publicly available sources.

  • Automatically: via cookies, web analytics and server logs when you visit the Site.

5. Purposes of Processing

We use personal data for the following purposes:

  • To perform investor onboarding, subscription and administration, including KYC/AML checks and accreditation verification;

  • To administer investor accounts, allocations, capital calls, distributions and reports;

  • For fraud detection, risk management and internal audit;

  • To manage payments and banking operations;

6. Sharing & Disclosure

  • Service providers and processors: trustees, custodians, fund administrators, auditors, KYC/CKYC agencies, legal advisors, payment processors, IT/hosting vendors and CRM providers;

  • Regulators and law enforcement: SEBI, tax authorities, PMLA authorities, courts or other governmental bodies as required by law;

  • Investee SPVs / developers: to the extent needed for execution, structural documentation, escrow and project monitoring;

  • Affiliates and professional advisors: where necessary for legitimate business purposes.
    We require third-party processors to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security and to process data only on our instructions.

7. International Transfers

Where required for our operations, personal data may be transferred to service providers located outside India. We will ensure such transfers comply with applicable legal requirements and that appropriate safeguards (contracts, security measures) are in place.

By submitting onboarding documents, you acknowledge that TerraVest and its service providers will verify identity and other information to satisfy KYC/AML obligations. Such verification may include checks with government databases, KYC Registration Agencies (KRAs) and third-party verification services. This data processing is required by law and will be retained as required by regulators.

13. Children

The Site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn we have inadvertently collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it.

Our Site may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
